Visit of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Egidijus Meilūnas in Sweden
On the 8th of December 2010 Deputy Minister of the Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania Egidijus Meilūnas participated in the bilateral political consultations with Sweden and discussed the most actual issues of the EU and international agenda.
During the visit E. Meilūnas had meetings with the Minister for the EU Affairs of Sweden Birgitta Ohlsson, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sweden Frank Belfrage, General Director of the Secretariat of the Council of the Baltic Sea States Jan Lundin.
Special attention was given towards preparations for the special events dedicated for the 20th Anniversary of re-establishment of diplomatic relations between Lithuania and Sweden, which will take place in August-September 2011.
