Stockholm Internet Forum

On the 18th of April 2012 First Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania Tomas Grabauskas attended opening ceremony of Stockholm Internet Forum. There were more than 350 representatives of civil society, business, information technologies and governmental organizations in this event. Delegate of Lithuania at the Forum was a Chair of Lithuanian Journalists Union Dainius Radzevičius. Stockholm Internet Forum was opened by Minister for Foreign Affairs of Sweden Carl Bildt. In his speech Minister noted importance of internet's freedom in the modern world as well as emphasized Sweden as a leading country in the world in the field of internet accessibility and development. There were also presentations of International Development Cooperation Minister Gunilla Carlsson and IT Minister Anna-Karin Hatt.
