Security policy of Lithuania was presented during international security conference Pax Baltica
On October 16-17, annual international security conference Pax Baltica took place in Karlskrona. During this event Lithuanian Ambassador to NATO Kęstutis Jankauskas made a presentation about Lithuanian security policy, NATO activities and Nordic-Baltic cooperation in the field of security and defence. Embassy of Lithuania is NATO contact point embassy in Sweden for the period 2013-2014. K.Jankauskas has emphasized that it is important that countries of the region actively developing relations with NATO depsite its different statuses. He pointed out that NATO remains the main security guarantee in transatlantic area and our region. K.Jankauskas noted that close relations between Sweden and NATO contributes to security of the region. Ambassador of Lithuania in Sweden Eitvydas Bajarūnas, Swedish Ambassador to NATO Veronica Wand-Danielsson as well as experts and academicians working in the field of security and defence made a presentation sduring the conference.
