Promoting cooperation between Lithuania and Sweden in the field of interior design
Lithuanian companies exhibiting in one of the largest Nordic design Fair Formex, which is taking place in Stockholm on 17-20 of January, had been visited by representatives of the Lithuanian Embassy, where representatives exchanged information about the prospects of promoting cooperation between Lithuania and Sweden in the aria of design. Cultural Attaché Saulė Mažeikaitė and Commercial Attaché Assitent Skirmantė Venalienė on the 18th of January had been met by 2 members of Panevežys Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts: Pluosto linija with its brand EcoLinum and art glass studio GlasRemis; also an exhibitor from Šiauliai Aurea Vita. Formex - the largest interior design fair for Nordic design. The fair is a meeting place for 850
exhibitors, 25,000 national and international visitors and over 800 media representatives. Formex is a trade fair that is open for anyone who is active in the following areas: gifts, home textiles and furnishings.
According to Jonas Jakutis, Director of Pluosto linija, although the company is exhibiting in FORMEX for the first time, but after the first half-day it was decided to participate in next Fair.
