Priorities of Lithuanian EU Presidency were presented for members of European Youth Parliament
On October 4, Ambassador of Lithuania Eitvydas Bajarūnas has visited Kungsholmens Gymnasium where he participated at the 3rd In School Session of European Youth Parliament (EYP) Sweden. Ambassador has made a presentation "Lithuania and EU: past, present and future", in which he informed about Lithuanian EU Presidency priorities as well as overviewed the most important topics of European agenda and relations of Lithuania with Baltic and Nordic countries. E.Bajarūnas has stressed that during two decades of independence Lithuania made considerable progess and now is assuming the duties of the EU Presidency. He stressed that is is a huge responsible, but also an unique opportunity to present Lithuania, its culture and economic potential. Ambassador pointed out that this meeting is an excellent opportunity to present Lithuania for Swedish youth.
