New Honorary Consul appointed in Umeå

A new Honorary Consul of the Republic of Lithuania has started her duties this October in Umeå. Ms Anna Helena Eliasson Järnö has become the sixth Honorary Consul of Lithuania in Sweden. Lithuania also has Honorary Consulates in Malmö, Kristianstad, Västerås, Göteborg and Halmstad. Lithuanian Honorary Consuls are appointed by the decision of the Minister of foreign affairs.
