National Anthem in Stockholm
6 July 2012 members of the Lithuanian Community in Sweden and employees of the Lithuanian Embassy in Stockholm have gathered in Riddarholmen to sing the National anthem of Lithuania. This beautiful tradition was born when Lithuania celebrated its millenium in 2009. The idea of "National anthem around the world" is quite simple - wherever you are, whatever you do, if Lithuania is your homeland - sing the National anthem in its honor at 9 pm.The Ambassador of Lithuania addressed the participants and expressed his joy that Lithuanians in Sweden continue this tradition.
