Lithuanian priorities in the field of security and defense presented in Stockholm
Lithuanian Ambassador in Stockholm Eitvydas Bajarūnas attended a conference, organized by Swedish NGO Frivärld on December 7. He presented the priorities of Lithuania’s security and defense policy and reviewed the security situation in the region. Embassy of Lithuania is NATO contact point embassy in Sweden for period 2013-2014. Famous Swedish journalists and politics’ experts gave speeches as well. Delegation from the Frivärld have recently visited Lithuania, where they met with representatives from various institutions and experts in the field of security and defense. Lithuanian Embassy in Sweden has helped to organize the trip. On December 6, Lithuanian Ambassador to NATO Kęstutis Jankauskas has participated in the conference organized by Swedish Defense Research Agency “Poland’s role in the system of Baltic security” where he presented Lithuania’s position regarding defense situation in the Baltic region.
