Lithuanian furniture producers are encouraged to do more in the Swedish market

Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to Sweden Eitvydas Bajarūnas and representatives of Commercial Attaché office in Stockholm on the 7th of February participated in the Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair, which is taking place in Stockholm on the 7-11 of February. At the Stockholm Exhibition Centre a meeting was held with the President of the Centre Patric Sjöberg and International Relations Manager Göran Ekberg, who were consulted on the possibility of intensifying the Lithuanian and Swedish business ties.

Embassy officials also met with Lithuanian enterprises participating in the exhibition, with which an exchange of information about the possible co-operation and prospects of promoting cooperation between Lithuania and Sweden took place.

Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair is the world's largest meeting place for Scandinavian furniture and lighting design, for both home and public environments where participate more than 800 exhibitors and is expected to attracted more than 40 000 visitors. Visitors at the exhibition not for the first year are the company from Lithuania. Thanks to Embassy efforts, this number is constantly expanding. There are more than 10 exhibitors like Padvaiskas & Ko, Sintuva, Trivilita, Grafų baldai, Tronhill and others from Lithuania in Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair this year.
