Lithuanian Ambassador to Sweden Eitvydas Bajarūnas held talks on strengthening relations with the leadership of the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control
On January 15, 2012 Lithuanian Ambassador to Sweden Eitvydas Bajarūnas visited Stockholm based European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), where he met with leadership of the center and with Lithuanian experts working in the centre.
During the meeting with the ECDC Director Marc Sprenger, and other management of the centre talks were held on the co-operation between the center and the Lithuanian authorities. There was also exchange of views on forthcoming visit of Director M.Sprenger to Lithuania where he will meet with the officials of the Ministry of Health and will pay a visit to the institutions involved in the disease prevention and control.
ECDC's management listened with attention to details of the preparation of Lithuania's EU Presidency to take place in the second half of 2013.
