Lithuania presented in tourism event in Stockholm
On the 18th of April 2012 Commerce Attaché Sigitas Brazinskas and his assistant Skirmantė Venalienė presented potential of Lithuanian tourism in Stockholm. Event was held by Association of National Tourist Offices Representatives in Sweden (ANTOR). This event was intended for mass media delegates. More than 50 Swedish journalists and about 40 representatives from Tourist Offices and Embassies participated in the meeting. During the event contact meetings took place. Lithuanian representatives introduced potential of Lithuanian tourism sector, affiliated contacts with press which is informing Swedes about tourist destinations and news in this sector. Swedish journalists were interested in possibilities of active tourism in Lithuania, including bike routes, aero-tourism and visiting of UNESCO heritage sites.
