Invitation to the opening of the exhibition "A Kaddish for the wooden synagogues of Lithuania"
We cordially invite you to the opening ceremony of the exhibition "A Kaddish for the wooden synagogues of Lithuania" which will take place on the 10th of November at 18:30 at the Jewish Community Center in Stockholm, Sessionsallen (Wahrendorffsgatan 3).
During the opening ceremony Dr. Jurgita Verbickiene, lector of Vilnius University will present the topic “Synagogues - an indicator of understanding Jewish history and culture in the contemporary Lithuanian society”. The initiators of the exhibition Daumantas Levas Todesas and Judita Gliauberžonaitė, representatives of The Jakovas Bunka Charity and Sponsorship Fund, will introduce activities of the fund.
