Business contacts between Sweden and Lithuania are developing swiftly and increasingly. Already for some time Sweden is No 1 investor into Lithuanian market since quite a number of Swedish companies have successfully established their businesses here. Swedish banks play a dominant role in Lithuania’s banking sector. Bilateral engagement is also on the rise in transport and energy sectors. At the same time, there are still enormous opportunities for new areas of cooperation between Lithuania and Sweden.

In order to exploit this potential, Lithuanian Embassy initiates regular informal business meetings to generate a forum for regular exchange of information and ideas on Lithuania’s economy and business environment in Stockholm.
