Honorary Consuls were briefed about Lithuania
On the 19th of September 2012 foreign Honorary Consuls in Sweden have been invited to the Lithuanian ambassador’s Eitvydas Bajarūnas residence in Stockholm. During the meeting Honorary Consuls had an opportunity to get more knowledge about the history of Lithuania, culture and tourism, political and economic tendencies, preparation for Lithuania’s presidencyof the EU Council in 2013. Margareta Eidensten, the President of the Swedish Honorary Consuls Association, presented activities of Honorary Consuls in Sweden. At the end of the evening, there was a lottery organized with a possibility to win a special prize – a Swedishtranslation of international bestsellerbook “Between Shades of Gray” written by the American author with Lithuanian origins Rūta Šepetys.
