Embassy officials participated in the presentation of Lithuanian companies at the exhibition in Gothenburg

On the 23-26th of October at Scandivnavias largest packaging fair SCANPACK Lithuanian companies, which represent packaging and publishing industries, have an opportunity to find new business partners. SCANPACK is organised every third year. Lithuanian Embassy to the Kingdom of Sweden representative Skirmantė Venalienė and Lithuanian Honorary Consul in Gothenburg Birgitta Jacobsson Ekblom visited Lithuanian companies and discussed the possibilities to enhance cooperation between Swedish and Lithuanian companies. Enterprise Lithuania for the second exhibition in a row presents Lithuanian national stand, in which more than 10 Lithuanian companies are exhibiting. In addition to the national stand there are exhibiting Printing Industries Association of Lithuania, represented by four members of the Association, and 7 Lithuanian entities with individual stands.

 

As economic growth in Europe is slowing down more and more Swedish companies begin to look to neighbouring states which could offer quality products for competitive price.

This year in SCANPACK participating 24 Lithuanian companies including „Baltijos polistirenas“, „Eltaka“, „Polivektris“, „Lisiplast“, „MTL Carton“, „Packaging Emigration“, „Panoden BI“, „Plamika“, „Plastara“, „Retal Baltic“, „Retal Europe“, „Robotex“, „Somlita“, „Strapa“, „Terekas“, „Lietpak“, „Veeko“, „Vilpak“, ,,Enterprise Lithuania”, Printing Industries Association of Lithuania represented by „Aurika“, „Grafobal Vilnius“, „Elmoris“ ir ,,REPRO“.
