Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania to the Kingdom of Sweden will celebrate the Day of Restoration of Independence of Lithuania – 11th of March – together with Lithuanians from Skåne region (southern Sweden)
On the 9th-10th of March Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania to the Kingdom of Sweden will celebrate the Day of Restoration of Independence of Lithuania in Skåne, the southern region of Sweden. On the 10th of March Ambassador Eitvydas Bajarūnas in the restaurant “Gunnestorp Gård” (town Hohaneso) will open an event on occasion of the Day of Restoration of Independence of Lithuania. There will performance by Lithuanian folk dance group “Baltija”.
Ambassador Eitvydas Bajarūnas will meet the chairman of Lithuanian Community in Skåne Egidijus Meškėnas to discuss relevant issues of common interest. On the 9th of March visiting consular mission will be organized in the Honorary Consulate General in Malmö. The biggest part of Lithuanian community lives in Skåne region.
