Embassy of Lithuania in Sweden is actively presenting priorities of the Lithuanian EU Presidency
On June 10, 2013, Ambassador of Lithuania Eitvydas Bajarūnas has met representatives of Swedish Paneurope Association and presented priorities of the forthcoming Lithuanian EU Presidency. During the meeting E.Bajarūnas has informed about the main events in Lithuania and Sweden during the Presidency period as well as prioritiy areas. He pointed out that Lithuania is the first Baltic state to take over the Presidency of the EU and it is a great opportunity to present the country.
Swedish Paneurope Association is non-governmental organisation, the part of international Paneuropean Movement. Association is organizing the seminars and other events on the issues of European agenda.
On June 4, counsellor of the Embassy of Lithuania Tomas Grabauskas and Cultural Attache Saulė Mažeikaitė have prsented priorities of Lithuanian EU Presidency for the members of European Movement in Sweden. On June 13, Ambassador Eitvydas Bajarūnas will meet representatives of Local Authorities and Regions Association to inform about forthcoming Presidency.
