Discussions on energy cooperation in Stockholm

On 28th of February Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to the Kingdom of Sweden Eitvydas Bajarūnas and representatives of the Lithuanian commercial attaché office in Stockholm have met ÅF Energy and System Analysis Department Manager Kristina Haraldsson, Heat and ÅF Power Department Manager Rickard Lundborg, Managing Director of ÅF subsidiary „AF-Consult" Darius Čičinskas  and other representatives of ÅF. The ÅF Group is a leader in technical consulting, with expertise founded on more than a century of experience. ÅF offer highly qualified services and solutions for industrial processes, infrastructure projects and the development of products and IT systems. Today the ÅF Group has approx. 4,500 employees (including Lithuania). ÅF base is in Europe, but business and clients are found all over the world. Net sales totaled approx. SEK 4.8 billion in 2010. During the meeting representatives of ÅF gave presentation on a company and its capacity in the energy field. In Lithuania company implements around 100 projects in the whole country. Ambassador Eitvydas Bajarūnas presented situation in energy sector of Lithuania and future strategic projects – new Nuclear Power Plant of Visaginas, Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Terminal in Klaipėda, electricity interconnections with Sweden and Poland.
