Celebration of the Statehood Day

On July 6, the day of Lithuanian Embassy in Sweden together with the Swedish Lithuanian community celebrated Statehood Day commemorating the coronation in 1253 of Mindaugas as the first King of Lithuania.
As has become tradition, the Lithuanians around the world sang the Lithuanian anthem. Swedish Lithuanian from Stockholm, Vasteras, Nykoping and other places, too, chose to sing the national anthem of Lithuania in Stockholm.
