Ambassador offers condolences over the death of Mr. Klemensas Gumauskas, longstanding chairman of the Swedish Lithuanian community
Ambassador of Lithuania Eitvydas Bajarūnas has offered condolences over the death of Mr. Klemensas Gumauskas, longstanding chairman of the Swedish Lithuanian community.
„Lithuania has lost a longstanding chairman of the Swedish Lithuanian community, a very devoted person, who had worked long years to the benefit of his country. Klemensas Gumauskas had lived in Sweden for a long time, but was never too far away from his motherland. All his deeds and activities were devoted to consistently enhance and promote love and respect to our country. Klemensas Gumauskas will remain in our memories as a strong personality, devoted to his country. I present my sincere condolences to his family, his friends and all those who knew him”, the ambassador wrote in his message of condolence.
