Ambassador of Lithuania Algimantas Rimkūnas presented letters of credence to the King of Sweden

On 30 November 2016 the Ambassador of the Lithuania to Sweden Algimantas Rimkūnas presented credential letters to H.M. Carl XVI Gustaf, King of Sweden.
After the ceremony, the Ambassador Rimkūnas had a conversation with the King of Sweden. They recalled the Swedish royal couple’s successful visit to Lithuania in October 2015 and welcomed the effective development of bilateral ties.
Lithuania and Sweden have successfully developed both bilateral relations and multilateral Nordic-Baltic cooperation. Lithuania thinks that its economic partnership with Sweden is very important, as it contributes to the country’s economic growth.
Rimkūnas is the tenth Ambassador of Lithuania to Sweden.
