Ambassador Eitvydas Bajarūnas met with Speaker of Riksdag Per Westerberg and respective ministers of the Swedish Government
On the 19th of December ambassador of Lithuania Eitvydas Bajarūnas met with Speaker of Riksdag Per Westerberg. Recently he has also met with Minister for Foreign Affairs Carl Bildt and Minister for the EU Affairs Birgitta Ohlsson. Bilateral relations, the results of Lithuania's OSCE Chairmanship, priorities of forthcoming Lithuanian EU Presidency in the second half of 2013, NB8 cooperation, energy security and European economc crisis were discussed during these meetings. Swedish officials positively evaluated Lithuanian performance as a Chair of OSCE and expressed the readiness to strengthen bilateral and regional cooperation.
