Ambassador E. Bajarūnas: our advantage is that Lithuania is a part of a safe Nordic Baltic harbour; Lithuania Tribune; 2014 August 22

The Lithuania Tribune TV spoke to Lithuania’s Ambassador to Sweden Eitvydas Bajarūnas. How the Russian aggression in the Eastern Ukraine did affected the Nordic Baltic cooperation we asked. The Ambassador used allegory of Lithuania being as a ship which belongs to a large fleet of NATO and the EU. Furthermore, Lithuania is in a safe Baltic Nordic harbour. This is our huge advantage, Ambassador said to us.
