Ambassador E. Bajarūnas discussed possibilities for cooperation with SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden
On the 16th of April 2012 Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to the Kingdom of Sweden Eitvydas Bajarūnas and representatives of Stockholm’s Commercial Attaché office visited SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden located in Borås. During the meeting with executives of the institute E. Bajarūnas introduced Lithuanian plans and projects in the fields of energy, innovations and other spheres. Also there was an exchange of ideas for future cooperation. SP Technical Research Institute is a leading organizationthis of such kind in Sweden which annual turnover of 750 million SEK and 1100 employees. Activities of the Institute includes many fields of science such as calibration, certification, chemistry and materials research, electronics, energy, measurement and wood technologies, construction mechanics and many others. Moreover, SP administers daughter enterprises which are engaged in research in concrete, glass, agriculture engineering, environmental protection and biotechnologies, etc.
