Ambassador attended the annual meeting of the "Friends of Skokloster Castle"
On August 30 Lithuanian Ambassador Eitvydas Bajarūnas together with other Baltic Sea regional ambassadors accredited to Stockholm visited Skokloster Castle. Ambassadors attended the annual meeting of "Friends of Skokloster Castle" where they were introduced to the development of the castle which is considered being one of the best preserved XVII century castles in Europe.
Ambassadors were also invited to a guided tour in the castle. Ambassador E.Bajarūnas together with his colleagues also took part in a lecture "Castles around the Baltic Sea" and opening of the photo exhibition of the various castles in our region. Among them – Trakai Castle, Vilnius Lower and Upper Castles, and Biržai Castle. The visit ended with a baroque music concert "Spectaculi" performed by an ensemble “Mare Balticum”.
